10 - 12 September 2018

Dubbo, NSW

TAFE NSW Bi-annual Bangamalanha Conference focuses on Post-school Aboriginal education, training and employment.

The Conference acknowledges that many individuals, organisations, Government and NGO’s together with Aboriginal Communities strive to achieve real and long lasting results when working to improve education, training and employment outcomes for Aboriginal peoples after they have left school.

Specific action plans, targets, frameworks, strategic planning and so on can make this a complex space for all involved, something the conference endeavours to address by facilitating the opportunity to bring together all stakeholders to engage in meaningful conversations.

"Personally, as a non-Aboriginal person, I felt it a privilege to attend the conference and it has been a real highlight. I constantly draw refernces from it and am grateful for the oppotunity to meet some fantastic people working to improve Aboriginal education in our region. My team and I will be attending when it is held again! Thank you very much for holding this event in Dubbo!".
